Proclamation

"Yes, You Can Change the World" Day

July 26, 2008

WHEREAS, the City of Medina is a city with a long and vibrant hstory and is located in one of the fastest growing counties in the State of Ohio; and,

WHEREAS, the City of Medina, its administrators and citizens are committed to Preserving the Past and Forging the Future; and,

WHEREAS, the Unity of Medina recognizes the need to support the community in accomplishing this goal, and

WHEREAS, Aman Motwane, author of Yes, You Can Change the World, is invited to this community by Unity of Medina to speak augmenting the community process by showing how all change must start at a personal level and is without regard to status, education or income; and,

NOW THEREFORE, I Jane Leaver, Mayor of City of Medina, do hereby proclaim July 26, 2008 as "Yes, You Can Change the World" Day in the City of Medina and urge all citizens to be open to Aman Motwane's message.

IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereby set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Medina to be affixed hereto this 17th day of July, year 2008.
